STERLING SILVER

Sterling Silver is an alloy that's 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. It's more durable and stronger than pure silver, so is often used to make jewelry.

We use Sterling Silver wire for Ear Crickets, Earrings, Rings, Pendant Necklaces, Chainmaille Bracelets, etc.

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless Steel is a super sturdy and heaviest material we use. If often contains nickle as a main ingredient. It will never tarnish and will not change your skin color.

We use Stainless Steel for select earrings, chain necklaces, statement necklaces, and about 90% of our bracelet offerings (both stretch and clasp items).

BLACKENED STAINLESS STEEL

While this material is more difficult to come by than classic Stainless Steel, we is a super sturdy and showcases the colored wire and isn’t as shiny as the stainless steel. With excessive wear, the finish will shift to a gunmetal color overtime.

We use Blackened Stainless Steel rings for Rainbow Rollo and occasional custom items.

BRASS

Brass is an alloy made from copper and zinc. Surface finish will change over time with air exposure and skin contact. Certain skin chemistries will either 1) remove tarnish making metal more shiny or 2) interact differently and turn metal darker.

We use Brass rings for items like the Rollo Stretch, Flat Narrow Stretch, Round Stretch, Wide Stretches, and occasional custom items.
