WHAT WE WORK ON
Repair: We can swap/replace earring hooks, chains, basic clasps, and length of items (varies upon item). May involve shaping up of wire parts (if applicable).
Clean: We offer cleaning on both WiRealm and other sterling pieces. Ie: rings, ear cuffs, earrings, pendant necklaces, etc. We prefer to avoid gems & stones, as this is not our specialty and would not want to risk damaging your item. Item will be cleaned with relevant tools, devices, and/or chemicals to remove tarnish, dirt, build-up (ie: polishing cloth, rock/jewelry tumbler, ultrasonic cleaner, liquid polish cleaner)
COST
Cost can range between $10 and $50+ depending on quantity of items that need adjustments and/or tarnish level.
RUBBER BANDS
While the rubber in our chainmaille bracelets is designed for jewelry-making, they are still rubber, so the integrity of stretch and color can shift over time. Check out more info about BRACELET CARE > RUBBER here. If you have item(s) that need fixing, read on.
WHAT WE DO
Repair: We can replace rubber rings, adjust size of bracelet, polish/realign metal rings
Cleaning: Deep cleaning of the bracelet (ie: anti-grease soap, cotton swabs, towels, etc.)
COST & POLICY
- If you want a size adjustment OR have a couple of rubber rings that need replacement, cost can range between $free - $20, depending on complexity and wear of item. There is a chance we may offer you a replacement instead of repairing, depending on the state of the item.
- If you purchased LESS than 60 days from request and need a fixing, we’ve most often seen this due to accidental scuffing and can be fixed with an easy replacement. This will be on us.
- If you purchased LESS than 2 year from request, most likely affected by overexposure to lotions/oils/abrasive substances or sat in water too long too often. Avoid those for next time! Happy to REPLACE it (for exact item or similar) approx. 50% of the original price you paid for it. For example, if you paid $45 for your original item, we’ll charge you $22.50 to replace it with a new one.
- If you purchased MORE than 2 year from request, this falls under normal wear and tear (inflation/overstretching of rubber), and you might need a new bracelet! Happy to REPLACE it (for exact item or similar) approx. 80% of the original price you paid for it. For example, if you paid $45 for your original item, we’ll charge you $36 to replace it with a new one.
