Tamara has curated shows at the Del Ray artisans gallery, including Au Naturel (August 2015), One Percent (Sept 2013), Hot Hot Hot (2012). She has also co-curated various shows, lending assistance in hanging artwork, coordinating special events or organizing submission of artists' work.
Organized "Hot" Dance Exhibition during Hot Hot Hot summer show at the Del Ray Artisans gallery July 2012. She designed the itinerary, organized instructors/music and led the event day-of. There were 8 acts and 50+ attendees, bringing people into the gallery who had never been or heard of the gallery previously.
Tamara served as the Art Camp administrator for the annual summer kids' art camp in 2011. She handled food, instructors, as well as the kids (8-12) & parents throughout the week.
Tamara participated as a judge on selection committee for All Night Grad Party T-shirt design for T.C. Williams High School at Del Ray Artisans gallery, Spring 2012.
Coordinates periodical Salsa/latin dance classes at the Del Ray Artisans gallery. Partners include George Mason University's Azucar Salsa Club and various independent dancers.
Swing Dance Lessons
Organized Instructors to teach Swing Dance Lessons at the Del Ray Artisans gallery for the Sock Hop event during the "Baby, It's Cold Outside" show in 2011. The entry fee was one pair of new socks for each person admitted—a drive to collect new socks for the homeless of Alexandria (donated socks benefited the Carpenter's Shelter).
